We need to be more aware of what we put onto our skin, and hair even more so for babies, it was after having to have a skin cancer cut out my specialist told me don't put anything on your skin you wouldn't eat or drink and that made a lot of sense.
Read labels carefully and if you don't understand the meaning of anything look it up on the net make a list of all the nasties and avoid them and putting them onto your skin.
Look in health shops for natural products for yourself, for babies, and small children .
There are too many products sold with so many nasties in them and you have to really look at the labels because some products say all natural and when you look at what is in that product its not all natural at all look for products not tested on animals, products with no aluminium ( which is in under arm deod) no alcohol etc. you will soon get to know the purest products to use on your skin that is safe not only for you but for babies, small children and those with sensitive skins.
You feel better some how using only pure products your skin looks more radiant, healthier and you know it isn't harming you at all.
