The Native American 10 Commandments

Postby Truthseeker » Thu Apr 11, 2013 10:53 pm

I walked past this unusual shop a couple of weeks ago and noticed in the window a big picture frame with Native American Indian art and their 10 commandments below, thought I'd post them as I think they are perfect. If only we could all try and live this way the world for sure would be a much better place.....

Treat the Earth and all that dwell thereon with respect.

Remain close to the Great Spirit, in all that you do.

Show great respect for your fellow beings. (Especially respect yourself)

Work together for the benefit of all mankind.

Give assistance and kindness wherever needed.

Do what you know to be right. (but be careful not to fall into self-righteousness)

Look after the well being of mind and body.

Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.

Be truthful and honest at all times. (Especially be truthful and honest with your self)

Take full responsibility for your actions.

Hi TS hope all good for you,
My girlfriend is a healer (past life Cherokee Indian) she has some amazing Native American Indian Pictures all around her house and when she is healing she uses the smudge stick, a genuine Eagle feather and chants it is channelled through her spirit guide.

I agree these sayings are so true and so worth living to thankyou for putting this on take care jazzxxx
